I made a free Chrome extension that checks if food is vegan on grocery websites

Fig is a free Chrome extension that highlights ingredients that may not be vegan while you shop for groceries online. Ingredients that definitely aren't vegan like gelatin and cochineal extract are red while ingredients that may not be vegan like sugar are yellow. I also wrote a bunch of ingredients annotations that help new vegans understand ingredients (just click an ingredient to learn more).

You can also customize the specific ingredients that Fig flags for you. For example, you can have it warn you about palm oil, honey, Stevia, added sugars, or any other ingredient you personally watch out for.

In case anyone is wondering, figs are flagged yellow in the Fig app 🐝 😊
