I messed up vegan brownies, what am I doing wrong?
according to this website: https://www.peta.org/living/food/accidentally-vegan/ Duncan Hines California Walnut Brownies are vegan. I substituted Kraft Vegan Mayo for the eggs (3TBSP per Egg) and then added the required oil and water, they came out burnt, oily, and too difficult to eat. What am I doing wrong? I also got a couple of Betty Crocker cake mixes that can be vegan as well but haven't tried them yet. Do I need to use apple sauce as a binder instead?
