I want to make a sort of poke inspired rice bowl with tofu and veggies, I’m planning on stopping at my local asian foods store, any ingredient recommendations?
I know this is vague but I'm really trying to be loose with it. I tried this before, I made oven baked, marinated (hoisin, soy, dark soy, siracha, black vinegar, peppercorn chili oil) tofu, brown rice, stir fried broccoli with ginger and the leftover marinade sauce, then assembled it all with some raw green onion and jalapeno with a little more sauce drizzled on top. It was great but kind of a mess, I was very overwhelmed by the selection of sauces and seasonings at my asian foods store and the aisles are kind of tight, so especially with covid I was in a little bit of a rush to decide on things. I'd love to have more of a game plan this time.
