Oat based heavy cream substitute
I have been working on converting some old recipes of mine into being vegan, and one I am stuck on is a curry that uses heavy cream. I know the go to substitute in this case is coconut milk, but I am unable to use that due to a food allergy. I didn't know if anyone has had any experience with oat based creamers to know how those work in soups and if they have any suggestions. I saw that whole foods has both an unflavored coffee creamer, and a barista blend oat milk (I am not sure how thick that is).
