Share your wisdom of vegan Mac n cheese & vegan cornbread please!
I need help! I tried to make vegan cornbread recently. I used ground flax seed in a bit of water to replace the egg and almond milk. Two issues: it sort of just turned into crumbles when you cut it, didn't stick together very well. But I can live with that. Issue 2: I could taste the almond milk a lot and wasn't crazy about it. Tips?
Next, I would love a vegan Mac n cheese recipe. I've never tried vegan cheese on its own and don't know where to start. But baked Mac n cheese has always been a favorite of mine.
I also wouldn't mind any product recommendations for the cheese to use for vegan potato soup or vegan cheesy potatoes.
If this helps: I hate American cheese, Velveeta cheese, and nacho cheese. I used to love actual cheddar cheese, mozzarella, kraft Mac n cheese. Pretty much any cheese except American, Velveeta, and nacho. Thanks!
