Takeaway Tofu via /r/veganrecipes

Takeaway Tofu

Have cooked with tofu in plenty of different ways, from braised szechuan to tofish and chips to freeze and drain for fried chicken texture but i can't find a recipe for the way UK Chinese takeaways do their salt and pepper tofu and haven't been able to get there on my one (tried so many methods and can't get quite there). Anyone have anything to share with me?
