What egg substitute should I use for my rolls?

Now that I’m vegan, the family roll recipe that has been passed down for generations doesn’t quite fit my diet.

The rolls are a buttery and a little sweet. I’m not too good at explaining it but here is the recipe

I’ve heard of using Apple sauce or a flax egg but I wanted to get a second opinion before I make a big batch.

Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks! 🙂
